With the last few days being so windy I was wondering what you do to adapt your game to the conditions.

I try to hit my tee shots more smoothly and if possible I'll hit a punch shot to the green.

Today I was trying to hit a draw from the tee if the wind was coming from the left and a fade if it was blowing across the fairway from the right.

Most of the time this did work, but with me still being an amateur (lol) I didn't manage to do it everytime!

Blimey, the most obvious difference in our games is that my challenge is to keep it straight not try to alternate between a draw and a fade !

Pete, the hardest shot in golf is a straight one!

Everything has to be just right to get the ball to go straight.

My normal shot is a fade/slice, but over the last few weeks I've been altering my setup to try and get a draw from the tee.

At the moment I'm getting a 50/50 split between a draw and pushing the ball.

One of the benefits of being able to play different shots from the tee is when the wind is blowing.

Ah, I beleive your approach is, for me, maybe for the future.

In the interim I have a fade which I can somethimes keep straight and so if the wind is left to right I compensate by aiming further left !
