Well I feel sorry for Kenny Perry, but what a fantastic finish to the US Masters tournament.

The last two hours were well worth staying up for - the battle between Mickelson & Woods was great stuff, the pullback by Katiyama was exciting to watch, the collapse of Kenny Perry was sad but it made for a three way grand finale which was edge of the seat stuff - Chad Campbell must be kicking himself, Kenny Perry is probably still in the bar consoling himself and Angel Cabrera is probably still floating on air and thanking his gods for his good fortune when trying a miracle shot from the middle of the woods!

Did Chad & Kenny just want it too much?

It was a great days golf.

Mickleson and Woods getting closer and closer to the lead.

Then the Kenny Perry story!  How bad must he be feeling now?

As you say I do feel sorry for him a little bit, he did all he needed to do except for the last two holes!

The playoff was just that little bit of extra drama.

My one wish was that idiot who kept shouting 'In the hole' even from tee shots on par 5s!  Why don't they kick these people out?

All these fit athletic golfers & the three in the play offs were either middle aged, a bit of a bloater or both. Gives a middle aged bloater like me great hopes!! Well done Angel

I also noticed that all the 'Athletes' were not in the playoff!

It does appear that you don't need to be an olypic athlete to win a golf tournament.

What a great sport golf is. It's the only one I know where you need technique but, once you have the basics, it rewards practice on an almost 100% in 100% back basis but you don't have to be super fit to play well or enjoy it, you can often get beaten by someone 20 years younger or someone 20 years older and there is always a welcome in the bar afterwards!
