I know it's still early days but who thinks we'll hold the cup against the americans at Valhalla in Kentucky? (the bookies don't think we will !)

Steve, Don't think we will win four on the trot. American system of four picks seems to favour them and surely Tiger can not play badly in another Ryder Cup. Think it will be close but world rankings suggest that the Americans will obtain a narrow victory. Just think how massive that will make 2010 at Celtic Manor - shall we go ? However, positive vibes !!! Bobby the Putt

Went to watch the Open at Sandwich and felt it was a waste of time. You had to be perched in the same place at watch them come through a group at a time. You couldn't follow anyone (unless it was 7.30 in the morning with an unknown american or swede). So i couldn't imagine what the Ryder cup would be like. I'm settled in front of the television for 4 days. Keep up the putting practice

Woods is out but I'm not sure if thast's good for us or bad. they lose the best player in the world but maybe replace him with a 'team player' - which will be badddddd.
