Robbie, congratulations on the 79. All you've got to do now is stretch it out over the full 18 holes. Your back nine was much better so something obviously started to work for you. Keep going, I'm certain that you'll start to improve your scores soon. Russ

I'm impressed by the determination to finish after a 79 on the front 9. Shows solid determination/masochism (take your pick...)

Thing is I can't concede defeat - I keep going to the bitter end and actually finished the round with a par..... The back 9 saw me go back to basics with my GAPS: Grip Allignment Posture Stance A range visits in order tomorrow morning to see whats going on and hopefully come Sunday it will be much better....

Yep that's me, after my lessons, practice and diabetic draw alright - I give in - what's a diabetic draw? Is this another term to go with the Sally Gunnell and Douglas Bader??

Hi Carol, No, not really. I was diagnosed with diabetes last December and my mates now refer to my golf swing as a diabetic draw... -- 11/05/2009 12:24:56: post edited by Robbie Allison.

Thanks for that Robbie! Sorry to hear about the diabetes, but I know what it means now. At least when I refer to my 'old lady swing' it's self explanatory!
