Hi,
just came back from a week in spain and played two courses that are a must play if anyone is staying anywhere around the Malaga area. The two courses are Finca Cortesin (I believe the world matchplay has been moved there from Wentworth) and La Reserva. Both these courses are in excellent condition and as mentioned in my opinion are a must play option. They are quite expensive but worth it. Both quite tough and at Finca a buggy is well recommended as it has massive walks between greens and tees. La Reserva can be walked if not too hot. Your handicap will be well tested!!

Steve Totally agree I was in same area last week, played Finca on Thur 15th may and also both San Roque courses, all fantastic experiences. I was really surprised how quiet it was out there, the recession has really hit Spain hard. If I had some spare cash I would definitely consider buying a little apartment or villa out there at current prices.
