Anyone interested in setting up a group for players that are based in London.
At the moment there doesn't seem to be a suitable group.

I am in West London and will start one of there is any interest.

cheers,

Michael

Hi Michael

It seems like a good idea to have a London group, I am in North London and would be interested.

Might be a case for NSEW areas or whatever. I've posted games all around London as part of my tour of the M25 in August. Most  of the TSG responses have come from Essex and Surrey, so there are still places available especially in West London (e.g. 10, 13, 14, 15 and 17th August) and a few in Kent (4-6 Aug). All welcome to join in - they are all posted. cheers Trevor.

Anyone in South East London, I've posted a game at Selsdon Park in Croydon for Monday at 3.12pm.  Its only £10 using there pay as you play card.  If anyone knows a better course for only £10 please let me know.

Sounds like there plenty of interest to start a few groups - Maybe one South West and one North West? - whos going to be brave enough to get the ball rolling?

Ps We have it on good authority that Falcons Fire & South East Swing are open to Ryder cup style challenges!!

The TSG Team

I'd happily join a group, especially a NW London type one - I've been a member of a South London group in the past (not on TSG), but the M25 is a right old pain to bother on a regular basis.

So anything in the West/North area of London would be mroe than welcome. Trent Park springs to mind, then you've got places like Rickmansworth, and even Wycombe Heights a little bit further afield.

Definitely up for joining something.

Just to bump this up again - I'm thinking of starting a North/West London/Herts (roughly!) group up in the New Year. Hopefully there will be some interest!

Hi Gary,

A NW London group would be great, moving us closer to a proper Ryder Cup style-ly, Team event.

Let us know if you need any help from us promoting the group!!

Regards

Ian

Ta! I hope it'll take off to some extent - I keep longingly looking at the SE London groups and hoping something will crop up near my part of the world.

I need to get the next few months out of the way first, and then get the ball slowly rolling in the New Year.

Early thoughts for courses/the sort of area:

Trent Park, Wycombe Heights, Rickmansworth, Ruislip - thinking those sorts of areas for London.
And then maybe up to places like Little Hay, Shendish Manor etc in Herts.

Open to all sorts of course ideas if people have other suggestions.

I am definitely interested in a NW London group.  I usually play Haste Hill, but also Ruislip, Trent Park, Wycombe Heights and Bushey Hall.  I look forward to some games in the New Year.
