I am taking part in the 2009 Macmillan Cancer Support Longest Day Golf Challenge! On the 25th June.   I will be playing 4 rounds of golf starting at 4am and finishing around 9pm, walking nearly 25 miles and taking over an amazing 350 golf shots......Please sponsor me for this very worthy cause.

It's very easy to sponsor me and the Blue Mountain Golfers, just go to http://www.justgiving.com/dj-neil-williams and click "donate now".

It takes a matter of minutes, is totally secure and you can leave a message with your donation too. If you pay UK tax, Justgiving will automatically reclaim 28% Gift Aid on your donation at no cost to you, so it's even better for the charity.

So thank you so much in advance for your support and feel free to pass it around
Neil (and the Blue Mountain Golfers)

I thought 4 rounds in one day was optimistic using a buggy (and a lot of 'gimme' putts) but walking four rounds and swinging a club at the same time, impressive if you complete it.  Good luck.

First of thanks to all that are or have made donations including TSG TEAM

Roly i would be more grateful if you could just make the donation as the task itself is enough pressure thanks let alone keeping my shots down...ha ha

To also let you know pete, buggies are not allowed so yes i will be walking ALL 4 ROUNDS but hopefully during the day we will have support from friends and members, who will be offering to either carrying my bag or pushing my electric trolley

Afternoon all

I have to say i am a little shocked that only the boys at TSG have made a donation, towards my golf challenge charity, which i am doing in 3 weeks time.

just to let you know even £5 or whatever amount, will go a long way, for me to reach my personal target and help those who have ever been effected

Thanks

I am not going to go into detail but i've tried to look after so many people whilst playing and arranging all these games on here and now it seems that dummies are been thrown around and charity sponsors have been cancelled, well i am so gald that some people are still doing thier bit and helping me on with this great cause.
