I still have not got my sons handicap sorted out, at his home club he is still a 25 handicap most times he plays 4 or 5 under that, his first clubs junior organiser is more interested in the 15 to 17 year old who are very good players some of them are 2 but the trouble is in 2 years time they will be too old to play for the club. A lot of other clubs are working on the kids from 10 up wards so then when there older players can not play for them they will have good Players who can take over. Me and another dad have sorted out comps for the youngsters I bought 2 cheep trophies and the other dad puts up £10 but we only got 5 children one week and 3 the next week we can not put any thing up to say that every 2 weeks there is going to be a comp have asked the junior organiser to tell the boys or girls as we do not know who they are don’t really know what to do for best, Nat has to show he is making progress to get back into the Essex under 14 squad he has made a lot of progress but because the cards he has put in even one which a adult member marked for him have been ignored it looks like he is not making any progress its so frustrating. Does anyone have any good suggestions to help me and the other boys dad out as we are trying are best to try and help the juniors out. -- 29/06/2009 09:33:38: post edited by TheSocialGolfer.
