Does anyone know of a website that offers ebay style auctions for games at some of the top courses in the UK and Ireland?

I have seen a couple of sites which offer golf courses like Kingsbarns and Gleneagles but are structured around single lowest unique bids rather than actual sums of money being paid out which is not what I am really looking for.

Kind Regards

I didn't know such sites existed and I'd be interested as well. Anyone know any?

Just come across this site from the Scottish Golf Union. Not quite an auction site but they do offer some fantastic deal on some of Scotland’s best courses.

I have listed the web link which should take you directly to the special offer tee-times.

Please read the terms and conditions as apparently these particular offers are quite heavily regulated by the courses.

Pete,

I have just booked up a four ball at the Castle Course, St Andrews for Saturday 12 September 2009.

You may remember that I recommended this particular course a couple of weeks back. If you fancy coming along you are more than welcome as we currently have a vacancy free.

I know it’s a bit of a trek but believe me its well worth it.

Kind Regards

Hi Dale,

Many thanks for the offer, very generous. Unfortunately I can't make Scotland early September, but I do intend taking your advice and coming up soon (hopefully end Sept) and I hope you'll be able to join me.

Pete,

Would be great to meet up when you are up.

To be honest we have quite a lot on during September what with our wedding anniversary my birthday and not to forget Amanda’s birthday as well.

Don’t know how you are fixed but we have a holiday home at Gleneagles that we use at the start of October which gives us unlimited access to the Kings, Queens and of course the PGA Centenary if you were in the area you are more that welcome to join us.

Anyway, I am sure you have a list as long as your arm of course you would like to play. Maybe you could drop me a mail closer to the time and we can arrange something.

Kind Regards
