I don't know if people would go to the Caribbean just for golf, but we have just come back from the Royal Westmoreland where you get a slightly reduced green fee if you stay on resort, and the course is lovely. I know there are villas to rent on Island Villas and Owners Direct - and none of them look too shabby to me. And Barbados is just a lovely place to be, golf or no golf.

Be careful though - the best time to play (IMO) is teeing off at 7 am to avoid the noon sun, which can be scarily fierce.
