Today I shot my best ever round....but not in the conventional sense, you understand! Without any contrivance I managed to record every number on my card from 2 through to 9 (8 & 9 courtesy of lost balls). Has anyone else achieved this or a similarly peculiar feat? Just wondering.... Cheers.

I got my first ever Birdie (Eagle on SI handicap, 1st hole at New Forest Par 4) the other week which probably completed my numbers that I am likely to achieve for a while..... I havent reached into the upper echolons of 9's recently, but there is always hope...ha ha!!

I played a round of golf with Alan (hacker) Haywood last Monday. Started par, bogey, par, then had a 9!! I was either gettng a birdie (ok, only one!), par or bogey or it was a complete disaster. I ended up with three nines, an eight and a seven on my card. First time this year I have shot over 100. Russ

I played in an away competition a couple of years ago and my scores went 6 - 5 - 4 - 3 - 2. My opponent announced that if I got a hole in one on the next hole, she was going home. I got a 9. Ah well.................

I played a round of golf with Alan (Hacker) Haywood and Roger Ireland yesterday........Roger shot a '4' on EVERY hole on the back nine - EXCEPT the last and only missed getting a 4 on that by an inch - what a shame! Ian M
