hi young man,

I play extensively out of state and country and would say key to playing well is...

1. Feel at home on the course, Review as much about the course before you leave. Most courses have hole legends from the strokesaver, print off and review fully. You feel you know the course when you arrive.

2. Try and play at least one practice round.

3. Ensure your travel arrangements and accomodation well sorted in advance, a bad journey can lead to awful stress prior to a tournament.

4. Dont change your game, remmber if it is good enuff at home, so it will be wherever you play.

5. Practice intensley, it is the key to all success.

6. Pay particular attention to speed of greens and composition of sand in bunkers,...........fairways, trees, shrubs, rough dont change much, but these two do!!!!!!!!!!

best of luck...........

remember thought of failure, should not worry you, not achieving your potential should.
