Excellent John. I'm playing my round in Reading unless they organise something closer to Kent. Who else is playing?

I enquired into playing at the POGT next year, and asked them how I would go about getting a handicap certificate as I don't have one through a golf club. I told them I have a handicap through TSG, and this is what they responded to my email - "You would ask thesocialgolfer to post you confirmation of handicap certificate and then show it to the organisers at check in. Please make sure that the form/certificate has a contact number". However since speaking to TSG, they will now be able to offer a handicap certificate that complies with POGT requirements. So if there is anyone who would like to enter the POGT but have felt themselves unable to due to lack of a club handicap can now join. Charlie

HI Charlie Thanks for clearing it up with them. We had the same concerns for the 2009 tournament. I gave them a print-out of my handicap history on the day and they were fine with that. As long as they can see you have been putting cards in and trying to stay a high handicapper for an obvious advantage. I see the handicap certificate on here is pretty good; much better than the one I used. Tiaan

I have posted all the qualifiers on the games page with instructions for joining. The Scotland courses are new courses so I need to confirm there locations and listings. See you all there.

I have received my entry papers for the qualifier at Reading. They are also doing a deal for £79 to stay the Sunday night and play practice round. Half board twin sharing.
Anyone else going? I might just book into a B&B near there and play a round the Sunday afternoon.
