Just spent week at this magnificent location playing in E Tour usa national finals, not particularly succesfully but hey what the matter,

 for update

see www.thesocialgolfer.blogspot.com.

However what a fabulous venue for a golf break this is. over 24 courses within a 6 mile by 2 location, great courses including the world famous harbour town, all at reasonable prices. great accomodation usually on the beach, fabulous weather
top notch restaurants, enough night life to satisfy most party animals.

highly recommend.

Hi Ian,
I have relatives (on the wifes side) in South Carolina, which we plan to visit later in the year and I will definately be taking my golf clubs....you talk of the great courses in the area...I presume this is Hilton Head, because elsewhere you state that Hilton Head is in Florida. Could you clear up the confusion.
Thanks
Alan

I used to go the Dennis Van De Meer tennis camp in Hilton Head when I was younger. Would love to go back for the golf!
