How long does it take at a club to get a handicap and how many scorecards? What i'm trying to say is for instance is if it takes 3 scorecards can i hand them in with in 3 days if i played 3 days in succession?

Yes, usually three cards signed by another club member so three games over three days with three club members would be good enough, especially as at this time of year in the UK you're looking at a temporary handicap anyway (they assume you won't be scoring your best golf when it's cold and the fairways are wet and not running). Why the rush?

In the interim because TSG use the same handicap calculation system as golf clubs you can log all your scores here and then see what handicap you will be given by your club, it may surprise you :)

You may find at your club course, that you might have to play in a club competition off the white tee's for one of your cards. The other two can be played off the yellow tee's. ask the h/cap sec or in the pro shop.
