Golf Forums - Team Challenge at Nizels Golf Club

It's still a team event, just a team of 2 !!

So, now at West Malling (Hurricane course) and it's a Doubles 'Better Ball' game (ie the best score from your team per hole counts based on full handicap, stableford scoring)

I've proposed £30 per person to include the golf and a contribution to a 'swindle' for the winners and the runner up. So get your names down or miss out!

It's a lovely little course, good for all handicaps, with a good mix of 'risk/reward' shots or 'play it safe shots' availalbe.

that seems like a good idea!!!! Count me in.

need to amend this slightly. Count me in for the Thursday, but I've just received a long awaited appointment for the Friday, and if I cancel it, it could be a case of going to the back of the queue!

Great idea Pete, but no-can-do; I'm at Princes Open all week.  If it goes well and you do another I'll try and make it.

Apologises for the fact that I've changed this from a 4 man challenge to a doubles game, had to arrange this for a day that both Carol & Jackie have advised they can't make (sorry!) and moved the venue from Nizels to West Malling (a bit more expensive but a much 'quieter' course). 

So, whilst it's actually nothing like I originally proposed!!  I've now posted the game on the system. 

If you want to join you'll have to get your name in quick and use the Game Comment section to advise who your partnew is (if you want to join but don't yet have a partner then put your name down on the Game Comments and someone will, I am sure, join you).
