Golf Forums - IS ANYONE IN THE ROMFORD AREA UP FOR A DAY AT WOBURN G.C IN MARCH 2010?

I have played at WOBURN G.C. a few times over the year's and always enjoyed the challenge of the Championship course's there,and was considering another days golf there in March 2010. They do offer winter golf deals and it was my intention to have a return visit as stated.This is probably one of the finest venue's for golf in the country if you like playing inland courses with tree lined fairways,and greens that are true and fast and a consistant speed.That's why it has held many EUROPEAN TOUR EVENT'S over the year's.It certainly is a 'GOLFER'S PARADISE '.Have a look at it's Website. I am looking to make a fourball to go and play there and asking if there are any T.S.G. that would be interested in joining me for the day.It is my intention to play two of the courses the Duchess and the Dukes and normally lunch is included in the price ALTHOUGH IT MIGHT APPEAR A BIT EXPENSIVE I FEEL ITS WORTH IT IF YOU ARE UP FOR IT DROP US A LINE p.s I AM NOT SURE OF THE COST AT THE MOMENT BUT IT WAS ABOUT £90 LAST TIME I WENT THERE

Due to commitments playing at Celtic manor and St Pierre 7th / 8th might not get away with another golf expense with "her in doors" for March.

Would you consider April instead ?

For infor Woburns green fee's for 2010 are as follows:-

February £90,March £105 and April £125, package is a round on either Dukes or Duchess, bacon roll, coffee/tea and two course lunch. with the "option" for further golf, daylight permitting.

May, June, July and September package consist of a round on each but price rises to £159.
