We're considering upgrading the TSG forum to support 'Sticky Posts', Polls, Searching etc .

What do you think, Upgrade it of Leave it alone?

I think, anything that can get more members involved in the Forums is a good thing. Not sure exactly what "Sticky posts" are (unless its somewhere to put your chewing Gum!) _______________________________ Polls would give us a general idea regarding others opinions. (perhaps we could hold one as to whether or not to have Polls!)_______________________________________ Searching is always a good tool to have. (especially if it helps me find my ball!) Go for it..

For the amount of traffic that is using the site, I would suggest that for all your effort, its not really worth it

Alas, I am not sure what 'sticky posts' are either?! All for polls etc though.

I wouldn't mind 'The Forum' being back at the top of the page along with the 'friends' back on the top right thoughl......given the site is about promoting 'social' inter-action. I can get my golf news anywhere.

However, I understand that I may be in the minority and I am sure you had a consensus for making this change!

On the plus side, always nice to see the site being improved - keep up the good work chaps!

Sticky Posts are those ones which are forced to stay at the top (otherwise they just get shuffled off by more active posts). I'm not sure we'd use them in TSG but I'm sure there'd be use for the Polls and Search facilties.

RE The order of sections on the Member's Home this was based on the feedback from the last Member survey but it's easy to change if members have decided that, having seen it they want the sections reordered - this could be one of the first Polls in the new forum !
