I am pleased to report that a Social Golfer team, including two community members, myself and Roger Hurcombe joined by my Golf Director Steve Skitt and Floridian Golfing Partner Rich Poore compiled a massive 95 points in the better two ball stableford and won this prestigious event.
Roger was quite imperious on the day, with a wonderful solid display which saw him score 41 points personally. I scored 33 points, Steve 32 and Rich 39....... a great Days Golf followed by super black tie evening presentation when we celebrated in great style.

Fantastic result by TheSocialGolfer team, well done to all.
and a winning score of 95 suggests that there weren't any 'bandit' teams in the event (too often I go in for Charity Days or Team events using the 'best 2 from 4 scores' system and see the winning team come in with 103-105 points - whhhhaaaat....., hooooowwww and no wayyyyy)

know what you mean we took some stick too next was 83..... but roger never blobbed, we only had one 4 pointer, rest 5,6 and one 7....great day
