I wondered if anyone went to the Golf Show at the NEC last weekend. Absolutely brilliant day out - tried out all the latest kit and got a custom set of Cleveland irons made for me there and then.

The same guys are running a show in London in April - the London Golf Show....bring it on !!

I've never actually been to a 'proper' golf show.  Did you get to compare equipment from multiple manufacturers ie were there stands which had clubs from various manufacturers or did you have to go to the Cleveland stand and then the Ping stand and then the Calloways stand etc?

Also, what's the golf show in London?

I allways fancied getting a custom made set of clubs. What did they do different for you. I assume they measured your swing speed, angle etc and then made the clubs with the correct shafts and lofts. Did it all go to plan? have you used the new ones yet? How much difference are the new clubs against walking into american golf and buying an off the shelf set of clevelands and also whats the cost against a stock set?

Bought a set of Pings and sank a 100ft putt - and you a 28 handicap!  A referral to the handicap secretary is in order methinks...
