I'm not impressed by the conduct of both teams regarding "non players" walking on the greens (and particularly around the hole) to shake hands / celebrate once a game is over.. Surely this will induce spike marks etc whilst there are matches that are on the course and still to reach the affected green ?

Both sides are guilty, this isn't a pro Europe comment..

I can understand wanting to congratulate players, but wait until you're off the green..

(Poults may not be allowed to Twitter, but he may take a peek on TSG, you never know....)

I have to agree with your comments.

If you are the last game out then it's not a problem, but if there are games behind you then stay off the green!

In my opinion there are far too many people inside the ropes.

Earlier today there was a putt and there must have been five or six people standing on the green who were blocking the view from the main camera being used.

Just watching now and there are nine people in the picture, seven of them on the green.

The only people who should be allowed on the green are the players and their caddies.

My other gripe is the crowd, I have heard on many occasions a cheer when the Americans have hit a poor shot.  I know the American crowds are not the best but do we have to start following them?

Russell I have been at Celtic Manor since Tuesday and the Americans have had fair support all around the course, their good shots have been applauded and there have been OOh's and AAh's on their poorer shots.  I have seen no applause at all for Any bad shots.  Did you see the welcome Tiger got at the Opening Ceremony?

I was pleased to see  the welcome Tiger got at the Opening Ceremony and pleased to see Europe win BUT what has happened to the players Etiquette ? some of the celebrations on course were over the top to say the least and as the players lead the crowd will follow.

Surely the fist pumping and passion contribute to making the ryder cup the special and unique competition that it is.

Yes i agree with that in part, but i think it gets worse each time (might just be me getting older) the Ryder Cup should be the pinicle in team golf competition and set the example for others to follow. (as far as etiquette)
