Not sure if this has already been done elsewhere but I thought it would be a good idea to let other users know which of us are members at golf clubs. If we state the club we are members at, where the club is & when we are willing to play, forum users could then contact us for a game thus allowing them to pay the members guest rate rather than the visitors fee. Any thoughts ?

If you look at members profiles, it shows on there which club they are members of if any.

Hi Garry,
As Roger and Chris have pointed out, the site does currently allow for this..........
You can add regularly played courses on your personal profile pages and there is a tickbox there to confirm your membership to a particular club.
However, If you think the system can be improved further or you would like us to show the club membership in another way, let us know and we will consider it!

Cheers for the feedback. I just wonder if there was a section within the forum (or elsewhere on the site) it would save clicking on each members profile on the off chance they maybe a member. We could also state the cost of the guest fee & when we are available to play.

Hi Garry,
You can currently see who are regular players at a club by going to the individual course pages, you can also update the course info and add 'Visitor/Guest costs' here as well........
However, this is an area of the site that does require some updating and we are currently under-going a review of all the functions here. As such we will add your comments onto the TSG 'things to consider' list! :-)
In the meantime, thanks for the feedback, it is only by listening to the members comments that we can continue to improve the site.
