So here it is. I was playing a few months back and i laid up next to a tree and stupidly played the ball as if the tree wasn't there and well i wrapped my pitching wedge around a tree.

So i need a new one can anyone recommend a good replacement i was using the one i got with my set which was a taylormade R7 draw i do/did like this one but i can't find it for sale anymore.

Cheers Dan

So i've seen two one being TaylorMade RAC 52degree or Mizuno MX Series Black Nickel 09 50 degree. I'm not that sure of what to get. Can anyone give me anyone give me any input on either with me being a high handicapper.

Despite echoing David's comment, I can thoroughly recommend the Mizuno wedges but, be careful with the degree selection......

When I replaced my clubs after the theft in June (Yes, I'm still bitter!) I had huge deliberations over what to go with. I ended up with a 47 degree PW, a 52 degree gap wedge and a 58 degree Sandwedge and whilst I wouldnt say it say it totally changed, my game around the greens it has certainly improved!

However, one word of caution, whilst the Black nickel looks ever so enticing in the shop - bear in mind this soon wheres off -but I was told that is old part of the design - I'm not going to argue with Mr.Mizuno but they did look better when new!

Good luck!

I've got TaylorMade XFT wedges in 50, 54 and 60 degrees and am very happy with them.

I use a Ping wedge which works really well, and sometimes not so well.  I don't think that's the club's fault though, more the idiot on the end of it!
