Dear TSGer's,
We have noticed the community has been hit by a number of Spammers in recent weeks (People who are using the site & their profiles to promote their own business interests). However, the good news is we have caught and deleted all of them pretty quickly!
Now whilst we are always happy to consider commercial opportunities for the benefit of you the members, we are committed to keeping as many areas of the site commercial free and as such we would ask you all to be vigilant when you come across any such abuse and let us here at TSG HQ know as soon as you spot anything awry!
In a way I guess we should be flattered by their interest but lets make sure we keep them pesky kids at bay!
Happy Golfing!!
Ian

Hi Ian, I've used the <Report This> button before (when I received an interesting proposal from a lady who want to be my "friend"...). Is this the best way to make TSG aware of spammers?

Hi All,
Exactly that Pete!
- If you notice anything via the internal TSG email message system, there is a 'Report This' button at the top of each message page.
- If you notice anything in the Forums, there is a 'Report Spam' button at the bottom of each thread.
Alternatively, email us at theteam@TheSocialGolfer.com
As they used to say in Hill Street Blues.......Lets be careful out there!
Ian
