 (Sorry about the long title)

I have heard that some partners (wives/Husbands) have, at times, objected to their other halves 'playing too much golf'.   I personally havn't come across this as I only ever play 3 or 4 times a week.

However if you ever have the occasional heated debate, with things being said like "This is the 4th time this week you have played golf" & Why don't you spend the day with me & the kids"  & "you love golf more than me"

I have been hearing reports recently that if you walk upto 5 miles a week, your immune system is much more efficient & you are less likely to get a cold (Man Flu) The immune system works extra hard to combat any fatigue you have from the long walk & continues to be ultra efficient for hours after the walk.

I also heard that if you walk about 9 miles a week you are much less likely to develop Altziemers.

These are just two facts that will help you to reply to your other half with the question  "do you want me to be healthy & avoid getting altziemers?  I am sure the reply would have to be "YES"  therefor just give them the facts & put your clubs in the car.

If you know anymore excuses...........er I mean valid reasons we can give as to why we should play more golf, please add the to this discussion.
