Thanks for that information Roger,I have looked at the offer and this is an Open Competition,it is a great chance to play this unique venue,and a very good price too.
It is quite a saving on the cost of a day at the course compared to their normal charges for that time of year.
The only problem is that it's a competition,and this is not really my scene,I like to play golf for the more social side of it and going in for competitions I don't enjoy so much.Trying to win a society golf day is as far as it goes for me these days
So I think I will stick to what I know is best for me,other members on the site may show an interest tho'
