  • Has anyone played Castle Point on Canvey Island recently?, or anytime.  I like trying to play some different courses other than the norm, having not played here i'm thinking of putting up a game,  can currently get some good online rates at the weekend.
  • Found some mixed reviews from a while ago but nothing recent, fellow TSG'ers input will be very welcome.
  • Cheers, Greg.

Hi Greg
i have not played Canvey for about 6 months now but it is very flat with a few "out of bounds" its a good course for high handicap golfers as there is not to much to punish any shots off line ...... all that said i would be happy to join any game posted

It is a pay and play course but has some difficult holes especially when the wind blows.  If you do want to play there I would suggest the summer would be better.  S

Thanks Chris and S H,
I shall try and arrange a game here,......................... when it's warm but not too hot, fairly calm, course is in good condition, not too busy, oh yeh......and when my game is in better shape. (Could be a long wait for the last one).
