glad to hear Alan's operation went well and look forward to joining him on the fairways again very soon
he has stated that the operation should help improve his game in more ways than one.
He has mentioned he will be able to throw clubs further!!
I think he will be able to run faster to catch that bloody remote control trolley he has when it go's A .W .O. L..
Is there anyone else that has any ideas on how the operation might improve his game?
If so lets hear them,I am sure Alan would appreciate them especially with a new hip in place.
Hurry up back ALAN

Hip Hip Hooray
Alans out to play
It's off to golf to see
Alans new hip, on the tee
With a driver in his hand
Where's that ball going to land?
Oh no it,s taken a hook
That bloody ball is in the brook
He takes a drop, just by the stream
And get's the ball on the green
Now the putt he does a shimmy
Gets near the hole for a 6" gimmie
The surgeons work has worked it's toll
Now it's on to the 2nd hole
He takes his stance
And with all his might
This little ball takes its flight
Heading to, no mans land
This little ball, hits the sand
It's out the bunker with a hack
Whatever you do, watch your back
The ball it takes a sudden blip
It's all down to this, brand new hip
The doctor says his game will improve
As long as you keep on the move
All in all your game is grand
So remember to keep out that sand
In a few months time, with golf much more
I'm sure you will, lower your score
So get some rest, from now till June
From all at Social well see you soon

Hey, thanks guys, much appreciated.
BTW, Tom, an old mate of mine - a very wealthy 70 year old, appeared at his golf course with a stunningly beautiful 25 year old lady. Everyone was speechless she was so gorgeous. During the round one of his playing partners asked how he had managed to pull such a beautiful girlfriend.
Girlfriend he said...she's my wife.
Blimey said his mate how did you manage that.
I lied about my age
Haha...so you told her you were 50.
No said Tom, I told her I was 90.
The older you get the more canny you must become.
Enjoy.

how old does that make you then Alan?
Give us a clue, have you shot your age on a golf course yet? I mean 18 holes not 9 holes.
Or is it a case I have forgot more than you will ever know?
What ever it may be you are still welcome to come and play with youngsters on the T.S.G.ANY TIME!!!!!

We.. will have to modify that manic electric golf trolley of yours then,I can adapt it for you free of charge.
It will be a pleasure to do for you,I could probably stop it going A.W.O.L. as well.
You know that pond on the side of the first par 3 over the ABBOTTS.
The next time you play that hole just point it in the direction of the pond and .................................!!!!!!!!
PROBLEM SOLVED
