Just to advise Social Golfers that the Shotsaver guys are promoting another pan-UK competition, with regional qualifying events, leading to a grand final in Belek, Turkey (all expenses paid - well most anyway).
Format is Pairs, betterball, stableford with two top teams from each event going forward to the Grand Final sometime in November 2011. There are prizes on offer (in line with Rules of course) and as far as I can see there are no limits to the amount of time you can enter or the number of teams.

Oulton Park, Leeds, 28th June
Belton Woods, Grantham, 2nd June
Staverton Park, Daventry, 24th May
Wokefield Park, Reading, 24th May

Bush Hill Park, Winchmore Hill, London, 20th June
Felixstowe Ferry, Felixstowe, 28th June
Cost of entry looks to be 50.00 GBP per person (100.00 per team)

Great opportunity to enjoy at least one day out, sure to be refreshments on offer at each event... but not stated.
valid handicap certs required, 3/4 handicap allowed (maximum Handicap is 24 - before allowance of course).
I have had some contact with the Snooper guys and they do put on a good show... each qualifying event is at a great venue... and the final is 5* luxury at a fabulous venue (or so I am led to believe).
