Afternoon,
I wonder if it would be possible to allow the posting of games to be more flexible by not requiring the course to be specified. I want to play this weekend, and I am happy to travel for about an hour. I could post a game, but perhaps someone who lives near me doesn't really like the course, played there yesterday etc, so they might not join.
What might be nice is if you could specify a postcode, say tw12 and a drive time, say 1 hour. It will give people the opportunity to have a chat and choose a course that suits them all.
You could of course do this in the forum, but adding this to the post game section might give you an opportunity to add some fancy visualisations, venn type diagrams over a map for example so you can easily see who is willing to travel where.
Just a thought.. And if anyone is up for some golf within an hours drive of tw12 this weekend please let me know! I dont care which course.

Hi Steve,
Again a good question.....
Until last month you could use the 'Available for a game' button on the 'posting a game' page but we had too many complaints that members didnt like the service, so we withdrew it last week. We didnt mention this on the last site news email.
However, if there is enough people who would like us to re-instate this we'd be happy to do it.......

I thought 'Available for a game' was a good idea, you have my support to reinstate it
