Golf Forums - Why Have Photo's on your profile?

i see that some people add photo's to their profile others do not?  Reasons for not having a photo: 

I don't have a digital camera,

I don't have any pics that do me justice.

I don't want people to see how ugly I am!

I don't want people to see how good looking I am! 

I am wanted by the FBI and have to keep my identity secret

I play under a false name & don't want my boss to know I play when I should be "visiting a client."

...................................... Any others?

I personally think photo's are a good way of knowing what the person or people you are planning to play with look like, so you don't do what I once did with the VGS (virtual golf society, inferior (in my opinion) to the TGS site and have no programme to upload photo's!) and turn up at an event and ask 3 different groups if they were VGS society? only to get confused looks and feel a bit stupid, untill I found the actual VGS...............Just a thought

Yep, same for me.  First game I went to (I organised it !), got there and thought umm, I wonder who, out of the 20 people sitting on the terrace, are the other 3 people I'm playing with today... Photos certainly make life easier.
