Golf Forums - Tampa Florida

I am looking for a game when I get to Tampa, Fla.  I will be there in Nov.   My handicapp is 12.  Just looking for a few friendly games while I am vacationing.  My email address is barto42895@aol.com.

Hi Bob, there are lots of members in Florida so hope you get a game or two when you're there. it's exactly what the community is meant for, BUT I would advise you not to post your email address on this or any other forum.

Any member up for a game in Florida can send you a private message (which is totally secure) whereas by posting your email address you expose yourself to suddenly receiving a lot of spam mail !!

So the moral of the story is use the forum to post the question and get a conversation going (perhaps getting some advice from local members on which courses are worth playing) but then use the 'Post a Game' function to post an open game and see who can join you or use the 'Messaging' system to tie up the detail of a game.

Exactly, couldn't agree more.

I joined a greyhound website and sent my email address out a few years ago and suddenly got so much junk mail it was a joke.

Hey Bob, im from the Tampa Bay area. What types of course are you intersted in? Long? Narrow? Or just any?

Hi James.  Just looking to play anywhere in the tampa area while i"m there in  Nov.   Not particular on what kind of course except that the wider the fairways the better.  I will be in Tampa Nov 15th to 22nd.  and again from Jan 10th to 17th.  Just looking for a friendly game.  My HDCP is 14
