I have the 3 hybrid and would definitely recommend that, haven't tried the irons or driver.

Hi Glenn,

I have a set of Mizuno irons (MX300's). This is my second set and I love them.

However, don't be to swayed by a brand name, the key thing is to get the clubs that are right for you. I had a list of ten sets I was looking at last year and after whitling them down to a Titleist set (I was persauded by the brand image) I changed my mind at the last minute and went back to the new Mizuno's and am very happy.

I also have a 3,4, and 5 set of Cobra hybrid - Bafflers which I swear by and they are currently being discounted to £75 online, I paid £110 each less than a year ago!

My advice would be try to start with a list of 5 ot 6 clubs and try each three or four times before you make your final decision, ultimately its all about what feels right for you, not the shop assistant advising you!

Good Luck.

Ian

go for custom fitting, clubs that are made for you, might cost a bit more but worth it in the end.
Best thing I ever done.
