Did you know that if your ball comes to rest close to a white 'out of bounds' stake (but still 'in play') and you attempt to remove the stake,  in order to play your shot unimpeeded, it would result in a 2 stroke penalty!!

Seems a bit harsh, when technically the white stake is NOT on the course.....

Anyone know of any other odd rulings?

On the Jinja course in Uganda if a ball lands in a footprint made by a hippopotamus, it may be lifted and dropped without any penalty

 What if it lands in the droppings can you lift and clean? I know you like to play with clean balls Greg!!!!!!
