I have been advised by a society handicap secretary that for matchplay singles the full handicap differentials may now be applied (2012 new rulings perhaps) instead of 3/4 handicap differentials. Not the case for pairs in matchplay yet. I also believe that rules for each competition may be applied locally... so the key word is 'MAY'...
Would this mean that we could claim the full handicap in the TSG Annual Compeitions? which have been Stableford Scoring so not subject to the new rule anyway...
Always a good test and who knows us high handicappers may have a good day anyway, it certainly keeps the low handicappers interested...
