Despite what you may think, this isn't a spam posting or some lonely hearts ad...
Let me enlighten you..
The current Mrs Gray has approved my request to join a golf club in the Guildford area, so I have been searching around for best courses and options available etc, and I find the offer from Bramley GC particularly attractive.
Basically, the offer is designed to attract "younger" members to the club, which quite clearly rules me out.. But a new member of my age (over 41 years old) can join for a reduced fee IF THEY JOIN AT THE SAME TIME AS A YOUNGER PERSON.. So, it is in my best interests to find a younger person to join at the same time as me..
In fact, so much so, that I would cover membership subscription for the both of us... It wouldn't cost the other person anything, and they could simply leave the club at the end of 2012 (if they wanted).. They needn't even play the course !!
The optimum benefit is if the person is 21 to 23 years old, but there are options (to a lesser extent) for anyone aged 18 - 20, or 24 - 26..
