Set up an open event for end of October. However, someone tried to join but found that they couldn't because they got a message stating that they needed to be on my friends lists!! Please resolve.

Just to let you know i've just been to that game and i was able to join it, so maybe ur friend isn't looking at the right game or is looking at the wrong date,

I've just tried again and it wont let me in its saying its a private game and as i'm not a friend i cant play, maybe you need to canel this game and re advertise it

I have also tried to join an 'Open Invite' game, but am not allowed to as am not invited, or on friends list. Game is on 13th October, please help me play golf.

This is under invesigation as we speak (or write). It will be fixed as soon as physically possible once we find what has happened. Hopefully the short delay to join games will not effect your enjoyment of the site. It is a little tricky as we have tested many games today using open invites , private etc and cannot reproduce the problem. Please bear with us. Regards Neil

Yes, sorry about that, we appear to have introduced a bug whilst upgrading the game section to allow creation of separate '3rd party golf events'. Slipped the testing net I'm afraid but it's all resolved now. Thanks for raising the issue for us and bearing with us whilst we fixed it.
