Hi all,Ahead of next Sunday's event, please see the latest COVID guidance from Farleigh...Following the government's announcement and advice from England Golf, from Monday 14th September, Farleigh Golf Club will be adhering to the change in the law which limits the size of indoor and outdoor group gatherings in England to six people.On the course, Golf can continue to be played in accordance with existing "A Guide to Safe Golf during COVID-19"guidance. Groupings must not consist of more than six people in one group of players The maximum number of players on the course will be based on the COVID Secure risk assessment Off the course, The clubhouse will continue to cater for groups of up to 30 peopleEach table in a group containing a maximum of six people from different households However, golfers in one group must avoid merging with golfers from other groups to create a single gathering of more than six peopleCOVID Secure Marshalls will be in place to advise golfers of these personal responsibilitiesWhen you arrive in the clubhouse, we will be introducing the following procedures:• It is table service when sitting indoorsIf sitting outdoors, orders can be placed at the bar following the one-way system and observing the social distancing guidelines that are in place at the club.• Upon arrival please access the displayed QR code or Appand complete the 'test and trace' information prior to sitting down at a tableIf you do not have a smartphone please speak to a member of staff and they will record your details manually• If sat indoors, a member of staff will come and take your order where payment will also be taken at the table• Chairs and tables have been positioned at least 1m apart and we kindly ask you do not move any furniture. If you are of one household and need more chairs, please inform us as you are seated, and we will move your tables and chairs.• We will bring you cutlery and sauce sachets with your food.• There is no standing room, you must remain seated.Society and team event organisers should take special care to ensure different groups of six from within their party do not merge to form larger groups before, during or after a round. Travel to and from Farleigh should continue to be in accordance with government regulations.
