I played the Upper Course which is an open parkland course with mainly wide fairways. It is fairly hilly and drains well in wet conditions, being not too long with reasonable greens. It has the added benefit of a cafe stop after the 8th hole if you need a pit stop for a hot drink or food. I will definitely play the course again. The mid week rate was £13.50.
A fairly open parkland course which is not too long but testing enough for most golfers. The last hole, a par 5 at over 600 yards is always tough at the end of the round. Course is generally well kept and with a driving range and a good club house its worth a visit.
Batchwood Hall did provide some club house and bar facilities but suffered from a fire about 18 months ago. This doesn't impact the golf course itself but there are currently no bar facilites.
