The most beautiful experience I've ever had golfing here.
A first-class golf course with its characteristics by 1GolfEU: "Each hole has a special design and a particular name that already hints at what to expect. For instance, there is hole 5, "Tidal Pool", where you will find either water - or not. Number 7, "Mangrove", suggest that you will hardly find a lost ball in the mangrove jungle. "Cat and Mouse" indicates the volcano that dominates the island and is the background for the 12 hole, a 418 m long par 4". The training facilities - driving range, pitching and putting area, target greens - are also first-class.
The games that I played on this course, and the breathtaking beauty of the surrounding nature and the exclusive white sand beach along the course's fairways No 2 will stay in my memory forever.
Can't never betray my home club, I have only good things to say about this Golf Club to the TSGers. Come to play with me in Gaborone, Botswana and I promise you your experience of playing golf here will be a unique one! First, me - the host - for sure is excellent. Then the Clubhouse/Hospitality in this club is very good for Botswana norms (staff is always too slow, too easy going and too kind, their smiles are the reward for your patience, so keep your head cool 24x7. Honestly it took me a while to accept that, but eventually you all will get there, just like how bad your shots are, you will putt our ball in the hole, eventually....). Drought is part of life in this part of the black continent with a severe shortage of water the whole year through and I salute the club's management for the maintenance of the course as beautiful and as green as it is. Although giving a (haft) thumb down for the Club's Practice Facilities, we have such a beautiful practicing green to use, and fairly good range to start your warm up shots, so I've voted for its 5* in terms of Value for Money. VoilĂ !
