With a backdrop of mature oak, lime and beech and surrounded by Scots pine, it's undulating terrain rolls along the banks of Bearwood Lake, with dramatic views of the whole Bearwood Estate.The course has been sensitively designed by Martin Hawtree, the third generation of a distinguished family of golf course architects, the course was built by Southern Golf, Europe's leading golf course constructor, (having amongst it's portfolio The Wisley, The Oxfordshire, The Marquess at Woburn, Kingsbarns, St. Andrews Bay and The Buckinghamshire).
Set in over 200 acres of beautiful Berkshire countryside the course was opened in 1996 and was immediately voted one of the best new courses in the UK.
The clubhouse offers all facilities expected of such a high quality establishment and the clubhouse facilities are complemented by extensive practice ground with covered bays, short game area and practice putting green.
