Owned by the Old Course Hotel St Andrews,the Dukes Course was built by the hotel because, although the hotel overlooks the Old Course at St Andrews it does not have rights of the course and so they built their own.
Laid out in Craigtoun Park,a Scottish Estate 2 miles outtside of St Andrews town, the Dukes Course was designed as the first heathland course in St Andrews.
The course is long, tough, challenging and maintained to the sort of standard you would expect of a course designed, built and maintained on behalf of the most famous Golf Hotel in the World.
