Lovely parkland course

You pretty much know the sort of course to expect when you drive through the gates, and when you get out onto the course it pretty much meets those expectations. At 6000 yards from the yellows and with only one par 5, it's not going to give up a good score easily, but it's a very scenic ride no matter how your round goes.

Of the two, I much prefered the back nine, which I felt had the more interesting and prettier holes. Most of the holes are tree lined, with a decent mix of medium to tight fairways. As for the condition of the course, the greens, fairways and tees were as good as you're going to get anywhere.

My one gripe about the course were the distance markers, with a lot of sprinkler heads showing distances that conflicted with the 150 yard markers. It's a small niggle though.

Badgemore Park is a lovely course that's certainly worth a visit.

Decent track

Liked this course, and would play it again if it were a bit closer to me. In decent condition, and greens were good to putt on.

one of the friendliest golf courses

Badgemore Park G C is a very pretty parkland course with tight fairways. The course is maintained in very good conditions (not a single temporary green this past winter despite the awful weather). The clubhouse is compact as are the changing rooms but everywhere very friendly. With modest green fees its always a pleasure to take guests.

Mature course...

Played here on a charity golf day and was impressed with the course. An established parkland layout, the course requires some thought as it is both tight and short in places. Relatively flat, the greens are quick and in good condition and drain well - two very heavy bursts of rain didnt stop us playing. My only negative would be that a lot of the holes look the same. Would play here again depending on cost!
