The Berkshire Golf Club, founded in 1928, is home to two of England’s finest heathland courses – the Red and Blue courses. Designed by Herbert Fowler, the club is famous for its natural beauty and technical challenges, with the Red Course boasting a unique combination of six par 3s, 4s, and 5s. The 18-hole courses are spread across nearly 200 acres of prime heathland, with gorse, heather, and towering pines adding to the strategic challenge.
Close to the M4 and just south of Windsor, the club has hosted numerous prestigious tournaments, including the English Amateur Championship. It’s a favourite for golfers who appreciate tradition and excellent design.
