Reigate Heath Golf Club, once described by Peter Alliss as 'a little gem',offersa nine hole course but with eighteenseparate tees.
The teesare placed in quite different positions, eachdesigned tochange the aspect of the hole for the'second' nine.
Heathland is renowned for its all weather playability - sandy top soil and heather have been perfect natural companions on golf courses since the game began and it takes the severest conditions before Reigate Heath becomes unplayable even in the wettest of weathers.
