Short but Perfect to perfect one's game

David Lloyd Hampton GC is a pleasant short course perfect to perfect one's game.
9 different holes played twice from different tees, so in fact an 18 holes, with four Par 5s, measuring 483/447 yards, Men/Ladies respectively.

Part of the David Lloyd Health Club where one sees lots of "yammy Daddies & Mummies" with their 4x4s, retired "snowbirds" with large disposable income, some with less, young working people enjoying their leisure time on the tennis court, outdoor pool and big outdoor jacuzzi, indoor pool and gym etc..... Pilates/Yoga and all these wonderful things.

The course is open to anyone and very good value for money. The holes are varied and offer enough challenge to make you interested and keep you active & social. The greens are excellent too. Adjacent on a few holes to the neighbour "posh" Fulwell private members club (once it was part of the same vast estate belonging to some local rich landowner... (cannot remember the name).

There are two 1st class professionals, the Director of Golf, Mark Richecoeur, being one of them has created his successful Short Game Golf Academy (www.sgga.co.uk) on one side of the Estate, a great practice open air area, with 9 very short holes, sand bunkers, grass traps and a brand new 4 bays covered driving range. Absolutely superb. Mark also organise 4 golf coaching trips a year with a choice of countries & dates, ie Spain, Portugal, Cyprus & of course Turkey... from early Spring to late Autumn. Also worth mentioning there is an annual "Mini Masters" in time with the American event.
Great fun too.

The course is well established, with a lots of trees, shrubs, water comes into play too, a lovely practice Putting greens before the Starter hut. Well presented course with attractive flower beds/shrubs as you walk to the 1st tee.

Large car park.
Changing rooms.
Refreshments available form the Health Club.

PS: the above golf course was known as AMIDA , 9 holes.
