Tara Golf & Country Club,built in 1989, is a golf, country club and residential development set out on 1,100 acres of land to the east of ward Lake, Bradenton.
The 18 hole course, designed by Ted McAnlis,is a reasonably open course with wide fairways and large undulating greens. Withmultipletee positions this is awell designed and well maintained course which can be enjoyedby golfers of all ability.
It has fairways of Bermuda grass and greens of Tifdwarf grass, water hazards and lots of bunkers.
The course is golf buggy only (no walking).
