3 sisters, 2 golf carts, 1 short golf course......

This was the quickest & shortest 18 holes I have ever done (2 hrs!!!!).

Terra Ceia (Florida)G.C. is set amongst a Condominium built on reclaimed marshes by a local entrepreneur with a vision on the Terra Ceia Bay, hence the reason why water on every hole but 3, making this short Pars 3/Pars 4 course more of a challenge.

I was a little stressed at the beginning as I had a new set of clubs & my 2 sisters (non golfers) driving their own golf cart with a bit of a struggle and laughing at my bad shots (yes, they do happen!!!), but after the 4th or 5th hole, I managed to get the sisters to caddy for me and then the round was much more fun.

Very windy day adding more interest to the game, wide & dry fairways, palm trees, lowering laurels etc. water everywhere, beautiful fine white sand in bunkers but my ball never landed in them (the bunkers) but it seemed more attracted to the water !!!! Only 2 balls lost. Greens very dry and very fast just like an artificial carpet.

At one point we went through a nature reserve and saw roseat spoonbills, ibis, herons, butterflies and bees.

Peaceful setting even amongst the well laid out Condominium. Good paths for the golf carts but sometimes unsure where the next hole was.... Ideal course for families.

Very sunny day and high wind keeping us cool.

NO alligators.

Very friendly pro shop and warden.

Good practice facility.

Got a good rate for playing after 3pm and taking 2 non golfers with me and 2 golf carts.

Did not sample the Clubhouse.

Lots of parking.

THE END.....
