Modern Clubhouse - Lockers etc on ground floor, bar upstairs with disabled lift. Balcony overlooking course, hot food available every day till 7pm. Widescreen Sky TV, Snooker and pool tables. Very friendly.
Flat easy walking with tree-lined fairways. Greens as good as anywhere, bunkers with ample sand and most rough is sensibly cut. A good test of golf.
2 practice areas - 1 with view of 1st tee which is useful during comps. Good large practice green which mimics those on the course. Practice nets.
The course has seen significant improvements over the last decade with many trees planted and is well worth a visit.
Gave up membership earlier this year.
Clubhouse is large but dated. Widescreen Sky TV. Snooker Room. Showers. Dining Room but check availability as timings of menus vary. Friendly bar staff.
Course built on clay so not the best - greens usually very good but bunkers are the worst I've seen on a private course. Not hugely populated with trees but has a fair sprinkling with a number of the latest planted having stakes.
Practice putting green is a joke - tiny and not representative of the greens on the course. No practice nets but they do have a practice field with distance markers and a green with bunkers.
2 for 1's improve the value.
