Great variety - but you may want a cart

I really enjoyed this course. Most of the other players in the tournament hired a buggy, but I walked it. I prefer it that way, but if you don't do a small upward incline pulling clubs or don't have an electric trolley you too may want a buggy. The course was in great nick. I thought it had lots of variety and good options for course management decisions.

I liked the variety on this course. Greens were good and fast.
A drive required over a hedge, good dog-legs, and some long par 4s

Handy in Whetsone

I found it easy to get to from the tube station - but then I wasn't carrying clubs, but even then its OK. Its quite a compact course, with narrower fairways than Hendon. I didn't like the way the course fairways cross each other on the front 9. There were balls flying in all directions on a Sunday afternoon, and we lost balls very easily on this part.

Very welcoming 18 hole course

We played on a Sunday afternoon, and the proshop man was most friendly, and when we had a drink in the bar afterwards, a member made polite conversation. the clubhouse facilities were good, and I think it would make for quite a good club golf course.
